Walk in Services

There are sexual health clinics across Greenwich, which offer a free, confidential and friendly service for men and women.

You can be tested for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), as well as be offered a wide variety of contraception from free condoms, to convenient 'long acting' contraception for women. These 'long acting' methods don't need to be remembered each day, unlike the pill, making them much more convenient. All these services also offer rapid HIV testing (result in 15 minutes), unless otherwise stated.

Coronavirus

We are still following government advice to minimise the risk of coronavirus spreading to you and to staff, which means we are still not offering walk-in slots. We are providing afternoon appointment slots, and are increasing the days and times available.

Please ring 020 8301 8920 option 1 to talk to a nurse. You will then either be advised what to do, or be able to book an appointment. If you are running low on your contraceptive pill we may be able to prescribe and post them to you.

Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your appointment, and ring the number on the door to enter the building. Please do not bring other people with you.

From 29 June 2020 we will have additional bookable appointments available as follows:

  • Monday evenings up to 6pm
  • Thursday mornings 8 am - 12 women only
  • Saturday morning 9:30 – 12:10 men only
We are not currently offering STI screening if you have no symptoms – please go online and order a home-screening kit.
